For some time we have been awaiting an e-portfolio system that could deliver all of the features that many claimed their systems would. Unfortunately, others did not deliver what was expected and when an Awarding Body that we worked with recommended Quals-Direct, we decided to give them a go.

The experience was like a breath of fresh air, in as much as nothing was too much trouble, e.g. uploading numerous qualifications within days of our request, listening to our ideas and accommodating as many as were possible and answering all queries at the end of a telephone without lengthy delays.

The whole e-portfolio is easy to find your way around and the GAP Analysis is a very effective tool for assessors and learners to identify what exactly is remaining, which motivates learners to complete units and saves time for all involved in the assessment process. The report generator is very useful tool to keep employers up to date with their learners and has improved employer engagement. Another highly valuable benefit is that Quals-Direct e-portfolio enables us to instantly and accurately monitor individual assessors performance.

Without exception, all our assessors and verifiers that have used the Quals-Direct e-portfolio have opted to continue to use it over paper-based portfolios.

We are so pleased we followed up the recommendation of Quals-Direct and look forward to continuing to use their e-portfolio solution.

Before we started to use Quals Direct, our Assessors used to spend hours and hours writing out observations, filling in paperwork and assessing reflective accounts. After having a conversation with them, they persuaded me to try their system. So I did, and never looked back.

I’ve used other e-portfolio systems and the Quals Direct system beats all the others. You can input all information about the Learner from the ILR, you can also input all your assessment plans and visit logs as well as assessing Learners' work from the office, which the Learner has uploaded to the system before your observation visit.

This system saves me a great deal of time each day, which allows me to increase my Assessors' work load.

In the time we have been involved with Quals Direct our Assessors have found the system easy and intuitive to use. The time saved from an evidence processing point of view is immeasurable, plus evidence can be submitted and assessed almost immediately rather than having to wait for visits or evidence to be posted and assessed.
